Initial Comment:
Compile any user-created class (e.g. Foo) and type in the Interactions Pane:

> new Foo().getClass().getPackage()
java.lang.NullPointerException

or

> Foo.class().getPackage()
java.lang.NullPointerException

The "java.lang.NullPointerException" is printed in dark red, bold error font.

Note that doing Integer.class.getPackage() or new Integer(5).getClass().getPackage() works.
