However, I'm running into a significant roadblock, and I was hoping you might know of a workaround. When I use DrJava to show a JFrame that uses keyboard input, the components in that frame never receive those key presses. I don't have this problem on any other OS, and I don't have this problem with any other IDE. I believe the issue is that Java has a bug in Linux, that causes the DrJava main window to steal the focus somehow from other windows. Since I teach game programming to over 100 students in a Linux-only lab, this will prevent me from using DrJava, unless you can point me to a workaround. Thank you so much for your help!
