Category: Interactions Group: 4: Serious Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: David Green (dgreen) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Interaction Pane Breaks explicit toString() inheritance use Initial Comment: Problem occurs in both PC and Mac with version drjava-stable-20090821-r5004 Create a class with an explicit toString() method. Create a subclass with no explicit toString() method. In interaction pane, make a object of the subclass. Enter "object" by itself to get printout using toString() of super class implicitly -- works. Enter object.toString() and get error message about not being able to find a qualifying toString(). Works in a program built in the environment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=2866108&group_id=44253 |
