x[0] = true;  // The error should be an ArrayStoreException

Object y = new Integer[] { 0 };

y[0] = 7;    // No error should be generated

Object a = new Integer[] { 0, 1};

a[0] = true  // The error should be an ArrayStoreException

a[0] = 12;  // Should not be an error

Object[] c = new Integer[] { 1, 2 };

c[0] = true  // An ArrayStoreException should be generated; a DrJava error is generated.

c[0] = "A"  // Same as above
