Category: UI: UNIX-specific Group: 6: Crashes Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: DrJava hardlocks the machine when Compiz is used Initial Comment: I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 on AMD64 with an nVidia video card. The bug occurs when using either the 32-bit or 64-bit Sun 1.6.0_03 JREs. When compiz is enabled things work fine until DrJava is loaded, after which graphical corruption, starts occuring (within seconds) and the screen, mouse, and keyboard lock up. No caps-lock, no-numlock, no ctrl-alt-backspace. A complete reboot is required. DrJava Version : 20080112-0033 When using metacity instead of compiz is off DrJava seems to load, edit, compile (with 64-bit 1.6 JDK), and run programs fine. Of course there is no further debugging output because the machine crashes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=1875038&group_id=44253 |
