Category: Other Group: 2: Annoying Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: andy (a-lam) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: restricted users on Mac OS X Initial Comment: I'm trying to install DrJava for use in our student computer labs. We use the restricted users settings for accounts in Mac OS X 10.4. However, we are not able to add DrJava to the list of approved applications to run. It says that is unable to add the application due to current limitations. So, only unrestricted users can launch DrJava. Users who are restricted to certain, specific applications are not able to run DrJava, and there is no way to add DrJava to the list of approved applications. We'd prefer not to loosen the security on our computers by allowing all applications to run. Is there a way around this, or is it fixable? Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=1871473&group_id=44253 |
