Have you tried running the tests with it yet?  I'm not sure if it's a 
problem with my setup, but when I run "ant test" in jdk 1.4, I get a 
not-so-happy exception right away:

class sun.reflect.GeneratedSerializationConstructorAccessor6 cannot 
access its superclass sun.reflect.SerializationConstructionAccessorImpl

The tests run fine in jdk 1.3, obviously.

Anyway, aside from that, I've been using it in Linux, and I'm very happy 
with it.

   Just to follow up...  If anyone else has problems like this, be sure 
you're using the most recent version of ant.  ant-1.4.1 was released a 
little while ago, and you'll need it for ant to work with JDK 1.4.
