Summary: "Go to Opening/Closing Brace" Shortcut Inserts { or }
Initial Comment:
On Linux, using the "Go to Opening Brace" and "Go to Closing Brace" keyboard shortcuts -- by default Ctrl-Shift-[ and Ctrl-Shift-] -- also insert the { or } character, respectively. This does not happen on MacOS (where the shortcuts are Command-Shift-[ and Command-Shift-] by default). I haven't tested this on Windows.
For example, if the cursor is positioned where the | is in this example
|{ ... }
and Ctrl-Shift-] is pressed, the following text will result:
{ ... }|}
where | is the cursor.
