Summary: Cannot enter braces { } on Icelandic Mac OS X

I can’t seem to be able to make brackets in DrJava. I’m using it on mac os 10.5 and i can do brackets in the finder and in all other programs. Please help me find it, i been trying to find a solution for days.

Please help me understand the problem: You mean you cannot type square
brackets [] in the Definitions Pane (code editor) of DrJava?
I am assuming you have Icelandic keyboard settings? We will try to
figure out what is going on. Please let me know if I understand your
problem correctly.

Thx for the fast reply
No i cant do { and } which i can easily do in every other program i use and
in the finder of mac os. I'm using icelandic keyboard.
Please let me know if you have any other questions that might help you
resolve this problem.

Is { done using Alt-7 and } using Alt-0? And you are able to do [ ],
but not { }?

Alt7 and 0 gives me {} regularly but in DrJava nothing comes. But if i do
alt 8 and 9 i get [] in DrJava
