Summary: Check if Memory Size is Possible
Initial Comment:
When the user changes the heap sizes in the configuration, we should attempt to check whether the entered heap size is viable on the user's machine. I believe that could be done by briefly spawning a new JVM with the desired heap size and checking the exit code. That way, entering 4 GB on a 1 GB machine, or similar situations, could be avoided, although revision 4673 already greatly improves this problem.
