Summary: StatusBar NonIntuitive on MacOS-X
Initial Comment:
The status bar implemented as a JTextField does not
have an intuitive "non-editable" look on MacOS-X, even
if setEditable() is passed "false".
Fix: Use a JLabel (which is documented as a prefered
means of displaying uneditable text).
