#688 "Find Next" doesn't keep focus in Definitions pane

2: Annoying
Dan Smith

Seems like we've fixed this before in the past, but it's currently not working (r4592).

To reproduce:
1) Type some text in the "Find Next" box (something that will successfully match).
2) Move the focus to the Definitions pane.
3) Select Edit->Find Next.
4) Type something.

The typed text appears in the "Find Next" box, not the current document.

    I have a fix for this bug/feature request ready to commit but I am not sure I like the fix better than the bug. "Find Next" and "Find Previous" both select the text in the matching occurrence. With the "bug fix", if you type anything, it REPLACES the matched text. I don't like this behavior so I am holding off on the commit until we talk about it.

    The default behavior in all user interfaces is that "Find Next"/"Find Previous" select the matching occurrence, and that you can replace it by typing something or by pasting.

    I find this behavior very useful, as it makes a fast "manual replace-all" possible just by pressing "Find Next" and "Paste".

    There is now an option available. Not sure what the default behavior is, and I'm not convinced the option is necessary, but it's good enough to close the bug.
