Bugs item #3138237, was opened at 2010-12-16 09:40 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by malcolmt You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=884983&aid=3138237&group_id=178376 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Malcolm Tredinnick (malcolmt) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Distributions files should be in directory Initial Comment: Right now, when driconf installs, it puts all of its files (aside from the runtime) into site-packages/ directly. That directory is heavily used on most systems, so it's more considerate to create a single entry there -- a directory named after your package -- and then put all the individual files in that directory. Some packages will also create a .pth file, but that doesn't seem necessary for driconf, as driconf/__init__.py could do all the necessary importing of subfiles. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=884983&aid=3138237&group_id=178376 |

I'm not sure what that means, the menu specification does not detail how it's used http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/apa.html I don't think it will prevent it from being visible outside of GNOME, as OnlyShowIn is the preferred way to handle that. --=20 Cheers, Sven Arvidsson http://www.whiz.se PGP Key ID 760BDD22 |

Bugs item #1656905, was opened at 2007-02-10 14:23 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=884983&aid=1656905&group_id=178376 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: James C. Georgas (jgeorgas) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: driconf-0.9.1 uninitialized variable Initial Comment: An uninitialized variable in a driconf-0.9.1 file causes python to complain. I start driconf from a terminal without a pre-existing ~/.drirc configuration file. I open the "Application settings" dropdown at the bottom of the page. I select "Add", and put in doom3-demo and doom.x86 in the dialog fields, and select "OK". At this point driconf spews forth it's displeasure upon stderr: Code: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/driconf/driconf_simpleui.py", line 692, in changeApp self.selectApp(app) File "/usr/lib/driconf/driconf_simpleui.py", line 641, in selectApp self.appPage = AppPage (self.driver, app) File "/usr/lib/driconf/driconf_simpleui.py", line 347, in __init__ self.refreshOptions() File "/usr/lib/driconf/driconf_simpleui.py", line 369, in refreshOptions self.optionTree.append(sectIter, [ File "/usr/lib/driconf/driconf_simpleui.py", line 271, in lineWrap head, tail = head + tail[:i] + '\n', tail[j:] UnboundLocalError: local variable 'j' referenced before assignment It must be a python interpreter change. It seems like variables must be initialized before being used... To fix it, add "j = i" at line 260 in /usr/lib/driconf/driconf_simpleui.py, after the existing line "i = chars" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=884983&aid=1656905&group_id=178376 |
