Ok, an update with the requested information. I got the cvs to build succesfully (attached is the host.def). The kernel version is 2.4.0, it is a stock kernel, no patches. AGP is compiled into the kernel, it is an AMD irongate agp. I loaded the radeon.o module, which loaded fine (see attached dmesg) And i tried to run X with the XF86Config file attached. There is dri.log which is the rather brief output caught by start-dri.sh >& dri.log. BTW should I gzip the attached logs as i've done ? The last lot i sent along was over the size limit for posting messages. This seemed more polite some how. Anyway, any ideas now ? Do you need more info ? If you need more info how would I go about gathering it ? Jason |
