Hi, I think I'm quite close to getting this to work, but have run out of things to try. I'm getting no errors on starting X, the Xorg log states that Direct rendering is enabled. The problem comes when I try to run a glx program (glxinfo after export LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose). The error I'm getting is: libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 4.1.30 unichrome (screen 0) libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/modules/dri/unichrome_dri.so libGL error: dlopen /usr/lib/modules/dri/unichrome_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/modules/dri/unichrome_dri.so: undefined symbol: viaTexCombineState) libGL error: unable to find driver: unichrome_dri.so I'm aware that this is usually down to the wrong libGL being used, but I'm using the standard openGL shipped with xorg. Yes I am using Gentoo, but their instructions are dated and the forums no help, hence the post here. Versions: xorg - 6.8.2 Kernel - 2.6.11 dri - 20050502 snapshot If someone could explain to me what I'm doing wrong and what to try next, I'd be most grateful. Thanks Kevin |
