does anyone know where I can get this library that works with CVS
DRI? It doesn't seem to be something thats included in the CVS but
everyone seems to use it ;) I assume this is because its something
everyone assumes im suppose to have ;)
I've tried compiling Mesa and using the GLU library from it, i've tried
using the one included in tdfx_dri-4.0.1.i386.rpm from linux.3dfx.com and
i've tried using oss-opengl-glu-20000925-1.i386.rpm (SGI's GLU) but the
result is always the same. Everytime i try to run a program that uses it
(glxinfo too) I get the following error.
[merick@... lib]$ glxinfo
Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > 0x14) in reply type 0x0!
X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 0 ()
Atom id in failed request: 0x400
Serial number of failed request: 0
Current serial number in output stream: 20
GLUT seems to use GLU too, and everytime I do a glutCreateWindow this
seems to happen, maybe its a GLUT problem?? ... im a little lost here as
to what all these libraries are needed for :) if anyone has any
suggestions please please email me ... or share it with all :)

that library is not dri-related.
and it's not included in the dri distribution.
you can however get it from
http://dri.sourceforge.net ... look for 'Resource'...
