I've been trying to get the R300 DRI working on my G4 powerbook (Radeon
9600 M10) for a couple of days.
How important is the kernel version to getting this working?
I'm running the latest prepatch from kernel.org (2.6.13-rc3) but the
README from the R300 project recommends 2.6.9.
Everything else looks fine except for the fact that AGP fails...
The error I get when running X is:
(WW) RADEON(0): [agp] AGP not available
(EE) RADEON(0): [agp] AGP failed to initialize. Disabling the DRI.
Syslog has this (drm.ko loaded with debug=1):
Jul 17 20:58:42 localhost kernel: [drm:radeon_cp_init] *ERROR*
radeon_cp_init called without lock held, held 0 owner 00000000 ded27480
Jul 17 20:58:42 localhost kernel: [drm:drm_unlock] *ERROR* Process 1974
using kernel context 0
Anyone seen this before?
I'm currently using:
Xorg 220.127.116.11 snapshot
R300 from CVS 2005-07-17 (today)
Mesa from CVS 2005-07-17 (today)
Will post Xorg.conf, full syslog and Xorg.0.log soon.
