Due to problems with Wine, I upgraded my system from kernel 2.6.4-mm2 to
2.6.6. When I restarted my system, DRM complained about kernel version
mis-match so I got the latest CVS versions (yesterday's) and rebuilt
dri, X and drm. The build was successful so I installed X and drm,
rebooted and ran glxinfo. Glxinfo says direct rendering:yes but when I
ran glxgears it was so slow that at first I thought it wasn't running at
all. The frame rate is about .333 fps (yes. point 333). I used to get
288 to 300 fps befor this upgrade. When I closed glxgears I noticed I
had gotten an error message when it started,
do_wait: drmWaitVBlank returned -1, IRQs don't seem to be working correctly.
Try running with LIBGL_THROTTLE_REFRESH and LIBL_SYNC_REFRESH unset.
I get the same message when I try to run Quake1 in GL mode.
XFree86.0.log doesn't show any errors and AGP, GLX and DRI seem to be
loading OK. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how can I fix it?
