To all those that are using or attempted to use the mach64 snapshots and posted on the *dri-users* list, As I was browsing the dri-users lists I just recentely noticed several posts regarding the Mach64 branch and its snapshots. Almost all went unanswered. The reason for that is that neither I or AFAIK the other developers working on the Mach64 are subscribed to the dri-users list since no drivers were ever released so far. I guess that the availability of Mach64 snapshots changed that. Keep in mind that problems with snapshots should be sent to the *dri-devel* since when you use them you're effectively making beta testing. Since the archives don't have the email addresses of those who posted here I ask you to repost your messages to the *dri...@li...* list, so that the other developers can participate too. I'll keep subscribed to the dri-users lists to monitor eventual new posts. Regards, José Fonseca PS: We really need some README files on the http://dri.sf.net/snapshots/ and subdir explaining this and other caveats with the snapshots. I'll work on it. PPS: I really need to start maintaining a personal TODO list... |

Hi Rick, thanks for answer. Can you send me the following parts dmesg | grep fb cat /proc/mtrr (before X and DRI started) cat /proc/mtrr (after X and DRI started) cat /.X.err | grep 0x Thanks in advance Alex |

Sometimes users have problems with configuration, installation, or just don't know if it's something they've done. The dri-users forum is best for those questions. > I'll keep subscribed to the > dri-users lists to monitor eventual new posts. That would be great.
