I recently posted a mail asking for help, without getting any answers =( so here is a new one =) Im having problems with Evas to use HW acceleration, when i select hardware acceleration in the new evas_test it goes real slow even slower then software. =( I have a voodoo 3 2000 PCI This is what i use Kernel 2.4.0test12 Glide3 XF 4.0.2 from the cvs.sourceforge.net (the latest) Should i use Glide2? ive tryed it but it didnt work then either. Ive done everything necessery thats said in the Usage and Compile guide at dri.sourceforge.net. Should i install Mesa? In the usage guide it says the latest mesa is allready included with the X source. Ive also set the environment variables to use dri correctly. export MESA_GLX_FX="window" export SST_VGA_PASS=1 export SST_NOSHUTDOWN=1 when i run configure for evas it says im missing libGLU and that lib is included with Mesa, prehaps i should install mesa then? please help me someone |

Excuse me, a lame mistake from my side had been made, when i used glide2 i said to config/cf/host.def to not use glide3 when i reedited the file and recompiled the whole x source and all gl appliations it worked fine, im sorry to have bothered you guys........
