is here someone who has DRI running with the SiS300 chipset (SiS630 GUI
Accelerator+3D rev 49), XFree 4.3.x and kernel 2.6.5 on gentoo?
I have a ASUS L2000D and can't make it...
Please help me.
I know this is a 'bad' mail, because I haven't send some informations.
But I have done so much that it's not fast and easy to write - SORRY.

you need xfree86 4.4, XORG 6.7, or a DRI cvs snapshot to use the DRI on
you can download binary snapshots of the DRI here:

now I have experimented with all the stuff from winischhofer.net.
I have the following situation:
- kernel 2.5.6
- sis-dri from cvs
- sisfb from winischhofer.net
- sis-driv from winischhofer.net
I have reserved 65MB in the BIOS for my card.
I have 12MB reserved for the sisfb on boot.
I have 12MB reserved (with MaxXFBMem in xorg.conf) for X
I have AGP-size in xorg.conf of 65MB.
glxinfo says "direct rendering: Yes".
Now when I start any glx-program (i.e. glxgears or cube_client) my
notebook freez *damn*... - Only I can move my mouse-cursor around but I
have to switch my notebook hard off...
Can someone help me?
Has someone DRI running on SIS600 chipset?
If you wanna have more information - say that! I will post it too!
