I've managed to compile savage kernel module flawlessy on Fedora 1:
Changing the line
EXTRAVERSION = -1.2166.nptlcustom
EXTRAVERSION = -1.2166.nptl
in /usr/src/linux/Makefile , removing and untarring daily snapshot again
did the trick. The module loads just ok.
Still no changes from Brazilian keyboards, though.
