I've filed an update to bug 107145 detailing the system lockup I'm seeing on my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to possible work-arounds or further debugging I could do? to recap - VIA 133 dual-proc motherboard (tyan tiger S1834D) g400 dual-head 32MB OEM two PIII 666 256 MB RAM XFree86 4.0Z (the latest from the XFree86 CVS tree) kernel 2.4.0-test2-ac2 The X server prints (II) MGA(0): WARP Microcode Loaded (II) MGA(0): [drm] calced backoffset: 0x3c1000 (II) MGA(0): [drm] added 31 65536 byte DMA buffers (II) MGA(0): [drm] Mga Dma Initialization start and the system freezes. monitor in power save mode, alt-sysrq-s/u inoperative, but alt-sysrq-b reboots and the system is pingable. -andy -- Andy Isaacson <ad...@mr...> http://web.mr-happy.com/~adi/ |
