I recently got a linux laptop, so I now have a way to test my DRI changes on
Linux. The bsd-2-0-0-branch compiles cleanly on Linux, and has fairly good
support for BSD (3dfx is stable, MGA has a hang I can't reproduce well,
reports say R128 and Radeon are working, gamma is unknown).
At this point, I'm wondering when the code can be merged to trunk. However,
I was thinking because mesa-3-5-branch could be coming in to trunk soon I
would try porting it, too. I'll hopefully have mesa-3-5-branch BSD modules
soon, but one problem came up that I have a question about. Can one get a
CVS diff between the two branches without checking out each one? I tried
using cvs diff several ways, but it produced an empty patchfile. I've
checked out head and 3-5 separately and am now working on it, but it would
help a lot in the future if I knew.
