With a Radeon Mobility M6 on a powerbook G4 with
2.4.19-pre9 kernel system locks with the call of any
OpenGL application including glxgears and vis5d+.

    I will hopefully fix this soon. In the meantime, the trunk
    from about a week ago (around June 10th) should work.
