Mesa demos recompiled with GL* libs from /usr/X11R6/lib
crash also (in the same function: test for katmai
exception support).

I run kernel 2.4.13 without ac patches and XFree 4.1.0
with the latest mga.o from dri-cvs
(checked it out today).

    The cpu settings for the kernel is
    Pentium-III/Celeron(Coppermine)) Processor family
    with the only option enabled: MTRR support.

    To clarify further: I use mga_dri.o module that came with
    4.1.0

    And mga.o from the latest dri in cvs.

    I have the same problem on my RH7.1 laptop system with ati
    r128 driver.

    Program received signal SIGFPE, Arithmetic exception.

    It started after I upgraded to XFree86 4.1.0-15.
    Kernel is stock RedHat 2.4.9-21

    The sigfpe is a part of testing for SSE support. A signal
    handler is registered for it. When you hit that in gdb,
    type continue to continue on to the real coredump you're
    seeing. Closing this bug, please resubmit if you have a
    backtrace from a core dump.
