The support for html tables has seen a lot of work over the last few days. Tables are now rendered in a dotted line when the border width is set to 0. Previously, table border were not shown at all, making tables with border width's of 0 nearly imposible to use. This new advancement should make the use of tables much more user friendly.
The next few things on the cards for tables include:
- support for changing background colours and possibly even images.
- Click and drag table resizing
- Extra table alterations such as merge cells, split cells, etc.
Dreaming #7 is an HTML Editor applet that is extremely customisable and flexible. It uses <param> tags for most of it's runtime configuration. Most of the functionality can be turned off, therefore allowing CMS system admins to determine the amount of functionality available. Can use JavaScript or OnLoad events to initialise the applet contents.
The main web site is still being worked on, but there's a functional & (mostly) working demo up and running at http://dreaming.sourceforge.net/demo/
You will need the JDK1.4.x. to use the applet.
