Provide an open (perhaps AVISynth-compatible) method to allow the video stream of a .VOB to be sharpened, alter colorspace, do motion compensation, or other effects before the frame is sent to the divx codec.

Doing so by this method will allow the audio & subtitle parts of the .vob to remain in synch with the video and be processed as appropriate. This suggestion is different from being able to open a .avs file in that Dr. DivX would remain able to transcode audio from the .vob as well as include subtitle tracks, neither of which can be done from an .avs in Dr. DivX.

This would provide the best way to migrate from processing video, audio, and subtitles from several other programs and having to mux them together later - and put it in an easy-to-use and fast to setup program like Dr. DivX.
