Hi all. I have a problem. I have Ubuntu 5.10, and installed DRBL as SSI mode. I want to authenticate to Windows 2003 Server Active Directory. So I want to load samba and winbind on the clients and disable NIS to start on the clients. The problem is I can't find where is the directory to start or stop services at boot (on the clients). I removed both /tftroot/node_root/etc/init.d/nis and /etc/init.d/nis and still NIS the starts on the clients (since I am running in SSI mode, I removed every node$IP I had on the server). Resuming I have in the tftproot only the node_root directory (and pxe related directories), renamed on both etc/init.d (on the server and on the node_root directory) nis script to oldnis, and (believe it or not) NIS starts on the clients. Can anyone solve this mistery for me? Ricardo |
