#2 fdfullcd.iso FreeDOS Full Live CD for BIOS updates.

FreeDOS has a 8MB fdbasecd.iso and even better a 153MB fdfullcd.iso with the NET and DRIVER and LANG packages among other packages built-in.

The main reason i would like to use this version of FreeDOS is to update the BIOS and firmware on systems that do not have a Linux based update utility.
I don't find the existing 1.44MB floppy fdos usefull at all because it has neither network support built-in nor ability to read most of my USB memory sticks containing the flash image to update the BIOS. With the fdfullcd.iso, i could either read the new BIOS over the LAN or from another USB memory stick or CD-ROM attached to the system.
