I have been taking images of Windows 10 tablets just fine. I tried to take an image of two older Dell latitude laptops but once I pull out the clonezilla USB and put in the empty USB to store the image I get an error message.
Every 3.o s: ocs-scan-disk
sh: 1: ocs-scan-disk
input/output error
I get the same error when trying this on a second older Dell latitude of the same model and also when using a second new USB and/or an older known good USB with other stored CZ images.
Why am I getting this error message?

" input/output error" -> Normally this is hardware issue, either the disk has some physical issues, connectors, or the cable. Please try to replace them.

It can be read OK in some parts, but when you want to read or write in different parts, the errors are shown.
I suggest you try different devices, or use different version of Clonezilla live.

But the laptop boots uefi from clonezilla usb just fine and this problem is consistent across two devices.
