I have a homelab with a cluster of 12 clients (HP Z220 SFF) which I have successfully set up DRBL with Ubuntu Desktop. This is a fantastic tool, and I am so glad that I found it.
One thing I have been trying to experiment with is running Proxmox from my DRBL server. The reason for this is that, from what I have read, a good Proxmox cluster with Ceph storage should be using 4 disks on each node. I only have space in each client for 3 SSD's, and committing one of them for the Proxmox install drops it down to just 2 - so naturally, I'd like to get that 3rd disk back in the pool by getting Proxmox to somehow boot remotely.
I installed Proxmox on my main server, and then tried to install DRBL from the CLI - the same way I did when I set it up using Ubuntu Dekstop. But when I boot my client machines, it acts as if I have loaded the Proxmox installer instead of an already functional Hypervisor.
Will there be support for Proxmox on DRBL any time soon? I would love to work on this if someone has the time to help.
Thanks,
-Eric

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
We have very limited manpower in the project. Hence most of time we focus on Clonezilla, not DRBL.
Actually if you can remote boot your client, you can try to PXE booting Clonezilla live: https://clonezilla.org/livepxe.php
I believe it's easier to setup PXE service in Proxmox then to port DRBL in Proxmox.
