If the problem is on DRBL, please give unstable DRBL a try. Some known issues have been fixed.
If the problem is on the kernel and your hardware, maybe you have to put some boot parameters, e.g. acpi=off, noapic… in the boot parameters in file /tftpboot/nbi_img/pxelinux.cfg/default.

That solved my problem. Whatever the bug was installing the unstable version corrected it and allowed my clients to bootup and restore an image.
