I currently have DRBL Server installed on Ubuntu 13.04 and everything is working great. I am able to PXE boot clients and save/restore images which are saved to /clonezilla/ on my DRBL server. The question is: how can I restore my saved images in a non-PXE environment (i.e. via bootable CD/DVD)? In other words, I want to be able to create a bootable iso from the files in /clonezilla/test-image, for example, pop it in another system (no PXE availabe) and restore the image. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Kendell, you should use the "live" drbl distribution on DVD or USB flash. Regards!
Faktor, thanks for the response but DRBL Live will not work for what I am attempting to do.
I have already saved several images on my DRBL server and now I need a way to create a bootable CD/DVD from one of those images.
Thanks
You can use Clonezilla live to do that.
The step by step about creating recovery CD or USB drive:

Steven.
Thank you Steven. I was able to successfully create the ISO, burn it, and restore it. But now the restored hard drive will not boot. Any ideas?
What was the error message?
Steven.
No error message. The system just hangs at "Attempting Boot From Hard Drive".
If you use Clonezilla live to restore in the interactive mode, still same issue?
Steven.
What do you mean by interactive mode?

I meant to do something like this:
