I know it's kind of jumping the gun to ask first and research later, but I just want to know if I'm wasting my time first.

My Clonezilla server has 7 nic cards. If I want to do a push on one subnet, a) is it possible to split up the computers I am pushing and push them at once using two or more nics on the same subnet, and b) is this method going to make for faster image pushes?

and c) where do I find the information on how to do this right?

      For your questions,
      (a) On same subnet, no. Every NIC must use a subnet, e.g. NIC1 192.168.101.0/24, NIC2 192.168.102.0/24...
      (b) It depends. For multicast clone, actually you can only restore _one_ image at the same time. For unicast clone, it will be slower if more clients are restored at the same time.
      (c) Just follow drbl.sf.net to install DRBL, and use the command "/opt/drbl/sbin/dcs" -> "clonezilla-start", and all the info and messages will be shown in the dialog menus.

Let me put it this way. If I have a lab of 20 machines, and I put 5 on a subnet and use 4 nics for one multicast push to this lab, will it push to all 4 subnets at once, and do you suppose it will reduce the push time?

        Thanks for your time.

If you mean multicast clone, actually 1 or 2 NICs on the server can do that. From our experience, a gigabits NIC can support about 20 clients. If not, you can use more NICs, but the time will almost the same for multicast clone.
To use more NICs on the server to connect clients is to allow them can boot via PXE and let Clonezilla SE work. It does not mean it can run faster.

I already have drbl installed and am using it with much satisfaction. I was just hoping I could push a computer lab faster if I had 10 machines pushing from one NIC and the other 10 from a 2nd Nic. But I guess without putting them on multiple subnets that won't work.

If i was too put them on multiple subnets from drble's dhcp, and then push the same image to two subnets, do you think that would improve performance?

"put them on multiple subnets from drble's dhcp, and then push the same image to two subnets" -> This will work. As for performance, for multicast clone, if your network switch can sustain, the time to clone 20 clients is almost the same with 10 clients.
