I'm packaging drbl for PCLinuxOS and having great fun doing so :-)

One question though, the tftpboot/node_root contain /bin and PCLinuxOS has a great deal of needed programs in /usr/bin. What is the best approach to provide these programs to clients - copying /usr/bin to …/node_root/bin or copy /usr/bin to …./node_root/usr/bin and alter the PATH (and where do I alter the PATH for the client?) or a different approach alltogether?

The end result of this exercise will be native PCLinuxOS RPM packages downloadable via PCLinuxOS repos,

    thanks,
    MBantz

managed to move on by copying entire /usr/bin, /usr/lib and /sbin to /tftpboot/node_root - but I expect fewer programs/libraries are needed.

Managed to boot into Gnome in full DRBL

Shifting to Clonezilla mode almost work - though the server /home/partimag is not available from the clients. Trying to debug but have failed to find any logfile.

    Any help greatly appreciated :-)

    cheers,
    MBantz

Can't seem a way to remove older mails here.

To make sure no one is wasting time replying, I just want to mention that all issues with DRBL are solved - and DRBL is now packaged as RPM's for PCLinuxOS and working fine. DRBL will soon be installable via Synaptic packager in PCLinux,

Possibly this forum is not read by anyone?? - so I will not waste time explaining what was needed.

    cheers,
    MBantz

Thanks for asking this, and thanks for telling us you have made that.
For the past week I was very busy…
If you can, please share that with us.
    Thanks.

    Steven.
