    Dear all,

I installed succesfully a DRBL server on a Debian 7 with KDE. I didn't tried it yet but I have tried booting some clients with PXE and they worked so it's a good start.

Situation: On "template" computer I have two partitions ("/" and "/home"). "/" has 4.9Gb of 10gb used and "/home" only 600mb of 250gb used.

What I want: Deploy an image, cloning the template to multiple clients.

    My questions are:

    1) Clonezilla will make one file with the entire disk sizing 256gb? (in the case that I did not use compression) If the answer is yes, there is a way to indicate clonezilla to clone the entire disk but only using the information size?

    2) I should create two files (one for each partition) in order to get two files around 5gb? If this is the case, I don't want to "prepare" the clients disks with the partitions. Any idea?

    3) last: if the answer 1 is possible, clonezilla will adapt the image for different disk sizes? I mean, if I get 500gb disk, clonezilla will apply a 10gb partition and then another one with 250gb leaving 250gb without allocation?

Thank you for reading and for your answers in advance. Regards!

Basically you can find the answers in http://clonezilla.org
    (1) It will only save the used blocks. By default it will also compress that. Therefore the image size normally will be smaller.
    (2) No idea what your meaning is. Please describe more.
    (3) For beginner mode, yes, for expert mode, you have different options to use:
