    Hello guys,

    I want to know how can I skip the verification of the image by the clients in Clonezilla server when I try to restore an image in multicast system because I only skip this function in the side of the server, but always thaht a client start to boot, always verify the source image before copy the files on the hard disk of the client and this is very slow and take to much time.

    I only read somethin about this in an earlier version of 2016, but now I'm workin with the latest version drbl-live-xfce-2.5.1-16-amd64.

    Thanks.

    If you choose "-sc0" on the DRBL server, your clients still enter the mode to check the image? How come...
    Did you give testing DRBL live 2.5.2-5 a try?

    BTW, you can also give the "lite server" of Clonezilla live a try:
    http://clonezilla.org/show-live-doc-content.php?topic=clonezilla-live/doc/11_lite_server
    The results might be different.

      Hi Steven, I changed to the testing live version 2.5.2-5 and now it seem the clients doesn't need to check the integrity of the image from the server, but when star to clone using Static IP option instead of use DHCP, the clients start to clone in graphical mode but they are stoped in 32% of the progress:

      https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bxs1ug1I3oV1T3NNN1ZqcV8yNm8

      So I decide make another test using the same method but in the expert mode with no graphical UI, but in this case the progress stoped at 81.85%:

      https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bxs1ug1I3oV1M3Etbmx6RHFYQkk

      In both cases, it seem there are an issu about "libespeak-ng.so.1.1.49", in the changelog of DRBL live it seem this same issue was detected in an earlier version:

      http://clonezilla.org/downloads/stable/changelog.php

      Actually I'm tryng to clone an image based on Windows 10, in this case I made a backup of that installation with clonezilla firts, but now I got this issue. In this case the test wa made with 4 clients, since if I made with only 1 client the cloning service works fine and the Windows 10 image works fine on the disk of the client pc.

      Could you support me about how can I skip that problem or if maybe you need release a new DRBL live version with a fix?

      Thanks!

        Hi Steven, I found that if I uninstall the libespeak service on the server side, the clients clone without problems, during the process the message or error about libespeak still appearing, but the cloning process doesn't stop.

        In this case I made this function before start the clonezilla server:

        sudo apt-get remove espeak-ng*

        Regards!

    OK, I havde uploaded newer DRBL live, i.e., 2.5.2-11, in the testing release:
    https://drbl.org/download/
    Please give it a try to let us know the results.
    Thanks.

    Hi, it seem in the new testing version was corrected the issue with the libespeak files, but in this new release, since the moment that the desktop is loaded, it shown two error popups:

    "Could not connect to wicd's D-Bus interface. Check the wicd log for error messages"
    "The wicd daemon has shut down. The UI will not function properly until it is restarted"

    Due to this situation can't access to the Ethernet settings, so you have to start the service again with:

    $ systemctl start wicd.service
    $ wicd-client

    Thanks.

    Alfonso.

    Yes, I confirmed this issue. We need to report this issue to the upstrea, i.e., Debian.
