error DRBL-Live-Version

Hello,

I used to use drbl live on dedicated partition, mount by grug under Debian system.
I copy/paste the unzip on partition and modify Debian grub.cfg

So when i start my computer grub menu give me an enter to boot to drbl live like a usb flash or a cd.

I need to use Drbl live 2.5.1-16 amd64 or 2.5.1-20 amd64 the older versions don't work with HP 650G2.

Whatever, both work on usb flash but not on dedicated partition.
I didn't change anything and the older versions work fine on this way.

You use "toram=filesystem.squashfs" boot parameter which only copies the file filesystem.squashfs to the RAM disk, so that's why DRBL-Live-Version is not found. Try to use "toram=live,syslinux" which will make live boot copies live and syslinux directories to RAM disk. The DRBL-Live-Version will exists in live dir.

Sorry for my late answer.

If i do "toram=live,syslinux" i have this error message

File isolinux.cfg was NOT found in live system!

With "toram=\live,\syslinux" it's works, Thx :-)

But now I have a new error message when i try to use drblserver:

Failed to start service isc-dhcp-server !!!

I try with the new testing release 2.5.5-5 --> The same.

BTW, you could also give Clonezilla live (2.5.2-31) a try. It now has a "lite server" which is a light-weight Clonezilla SE.
