after you have saved few pictures, it gives "out of
memory" for every picture you try to save.

Which JDK and operating system are you using? Is it
repeatable? Can you give sequence of actions leading to
    crash?

JDK 1.1.8 on the server machine, and 1.1-1.3 on clients.
OS Windows 2000. Yes it is repeatable.
    1)copy picture to clipboard
    2)save to server
    3) repeat steps 1 thru 2 3-4 times

after that it will not save, and server says something
like "java memoryexception" or something like that. Problem
    is still occurring. http://www.baarimestari.com:2345/wb

Yes, I confirm this error (about 10 continous savings for
me before crash - I have 448 MB of RAM). Bug will be
tracked and removed in next version of Drawboard.

I have tried many various code hacks, but it looks like
error in JDK 1.1.8. I was unable to solve this problem. Use
JDK 1.3 or higher on server side - it works without any
problems even after 100 saved images.

Information about this problem will be included in
    documentation.
