DragonChess 2.1.0 Released !

New features in 2.1.0 :

- More robust networking :
As promised, we have improved the robustness of our connectivity code.
Unexpected connection errors no longer leave client or server in an

DragonChess 2.0.0 released !

At last, the new version is out. Networking support is already more robust than hoped for at first (still not great though, working at that :))

We're planning to release far more often now, adding functionality as we go along

We are currently working on the last release critical bugs before releasing the next version. This version already has basic networking support and a more efficient backend. Expect it before the weekend.

Dragonchess progress

Earlier reports about the progress of the backend redesign have proven to be a bit too optimistic.

We hope to have a new alpha by the end of next week if all goes well

Dragonchess networking and backend redesign

Things are up and running at full speed again.

We are working hard to finish the redesign of the backend in the next few weeks, and we're also implementing networking support. A new release should be following within a few weeks
