Intermediate release: 10.3.2.r2049

This is an intermediate release to fix an installation issue that was affecting a small number of users. It resolves the problem that installation was not possible without JUnit 4 libraries.

Saros 9.10.30.r1833 released

The Saros Team is proud to announce the release of version 9.10.30.r1833.

In this release we focused on improvements in the invitation module.
It is completely replaced, it supports now non-blocking invitations.
That means while users are invited, the host can continue
working and doesn't need to wait.

Saros 9.9.11.r1706 released

The Saros Team is proud to announce the release of version 9.9.11.r1706.

In this release we focused on awareness, feedback statistics and of course:
bug fixing.
* Now users can see whether their peers' Eclipse window is
active by taking a look at the roster view. A small clock icon indicates
if a user is "away".
* Users can use a pseudonym when submitting statistical data

Saros 9.8.21.r1660 released

The Saros Team is proud to announce the release of version 9.8.21.r1660.

In this release we focused on lots and lots of bug fixing and some
improvements to the network module. Now file transfers and activities

Saros 9.5.29.r1374 released

Saros 9.5.29 is the first release after our beta-release 9.5.8 and is packed with bug-fixes. In particular we have improved the consistency recovery and improved support while debugging an application. On the feature side, Saros now has much better dialogs for initial configuration of Jabber accounts and servers, which are shown at first start and offers the possibility to skip the synchronisation (needs to be enabled in the preferences). This release is also the first with which we want to gather some scientific data about distributed pair programming (this is a research project after all). To this end Saros will ask you after every fifth session (configurable, of course) whether you want to participate in a short survey.... read more
