Saros' plugin for IntelliJ should be easier to build and test.

The best solution would be to have a zip file that we just have to install as a plugin. Plus, the dependency on SWT should be removed. My IntelliJ doesn't like it and crashes each time.
Thanks.
The SWT dependency cannot be removed, but its setup can be made easier (in technical terms) and easier to understand (by means of online documentation).
I'm afraid, the SWT dependency is necessary, because we want to have a common GUI for Saros/Eclipse and Saros/IntelliJ. For this, we (indirectly) need the SWT libraries (located in a separate source folder: de.fu_berlin.inf.dpp.swt_plugin).
You might have noticed that there was some discussion on how to embed SWT on the mailing list recently [1].
As a result, since this very recent commit [c5ccc8], it should be easier to emded SWT.
I added Holger to this feature request, and he might be able to answer more specific questions from you.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Did you receive this notice [2], too?
