#103 Unclear download instructions
The "Via Update Site" instructions here: http://www.saros-project.org/InstallUsing do not link to any updatable plugin.
The saros-dropin-version.zip file does not exist at the listed location: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dpp/files/
There are no instructions for installing the jar file provided.
When adding through Eclipse, it reports this: No repository found at http://dpp.sourceforge.net/update.
The zi files are there; the place that I needed to drill down was not clear (until I followed it the first time).
The pieces are in place, and this ticket may be closed.
From which version to which other version do you try/plan to upgrade? or is this a fresh installation? The -version is meant as a place holder, e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/dpp/files/Saros/DPP%2012.3.30.r3893/saros-dropin-12.3.30.r3893.zip/download points to a dropin.
It was a fresh installation. I eventually found the download zip and successfully installed it, but locating the files was not an easy process for me. I could not load it using the "Update" method in Eclipse Helios because it could never contact the update site listed.
Fixed link for dropins to version 12.9.28. You don't need instruction for installing the jar file because you don't need to download any jar files. The update repository works fine
