Problem description
After the drawing area is moved by panning or scrolling, the red dot of the pointer tool appears in the wrong place.
To reproduce
- Draw a rectangle slightly into the right margin so that the canvas expands.
- Select the pointer tool and click in order to see that it works.
- Pan or scroll to the right.
- Select the pointer tool again and click. The red dot appears too far to the left.
Insights
It's quite easy to see that the cause of this is some confusion of coordinates. The curser is positioned relative to the screen/the Whiteboard window, whereas the dot appears somehow relative to the canvas's origin.
