YOu add saros contacts. Not everyone is a buddy, and it does not make much sense calling everyone "Buddy".
This was used because of the XMPP wording that was directly adapted...

Rename "buddy" to "contact" (everywhere).

    I think this was actually changed by Björn. It makes no sense, I would not call my boss or most employess of my company a buddy. Even the XMPP specs talks about contacts and not buddies when it comes to parts of the roster.
