Hi, Kevin. I just tried the command you gave, /opt/local/bin/port list, 
and here's what it gave:

Warning: Can't open index file for source: 
file:///Users/brandon/darwinports/dports
port search failed: No index(es) found! Have you synced your source 
indexes?

OK, so is that problem?
