[Dpgui-user] Portview question

Folks,

I now have my Postbase and PortView apps working, but I keep running  
into an apparent stall at the package's activation.  I'll download a  
package and it will go normally through verifying, extracting,  
configuring, building, installing, etc., but then apparently hang at  
"activating."

Am I doing something wrong?  If so, what?

I also notice that several of the packages I do successfully download  
and install, even when they show up as listed, are not shown as  
"active" in my window.  What does that mean?

I've worked with Linux for a couple years, but this is my first  
experience with Darwin and I'm lost.
