to be honestly, i dont have much confidence about my answer. because you did not upload the log file. it is in C:\Users\youradminnamehere\AppData\Local\Temp and called "dpg4x.log". the error messages are very helpful to locate where errors are and fix them

Thanks for the advice. To be license compliant I cannot include mplayer in the relase and instead let the downloader install it. But download links for mplayer changes over time.

The suggestion in the comment from 2022-09-02 will probably work. Otherwise a new release with updated url would be need, I don't know how many people that actually use this program and view videos on their nintendo ds. Won't most people use mobile phones instead?
