What about a generic configfile interface for creating
user-defined execute commands, such as a command
for "Dial In" for example, connecting your dp500server
with the internet via your Kiss DP500.

for example in dp500.conf :

[command1]
title="Dial in"
exec="/usr/sbin/ppp blah blah"

[command2]
title=Hangup
exec="killall ppp"
